Quantum Valley Ideas Laboratories (QVIL) is a not-for-profit applied research institution focused on cutting-edge research and development of quantum technologies. Quantum Valley Ideas Laboratories is tackling the ambitious goal of accelerating quantum technologies from proof-of-concept to real-world applicable, commercialized solutions. We are searching for an applied physicist or engineer to fill a postdoctoral fellow position.
The candidate will join the team to advance atom-based quantum sensing systems and their applications. QVIL is interested in hiring a candidate who has a passion for application-driven R&D and prototyping as part of a scientific team. The candidate will work under a project lead with other staff scientists and engineers. The successful applicant will work collaboratively to perform experiments and process data, as well as develop and maintain prototypes. This will include hands-on work with lasers, optical devices, radio frequency (RF) technologies, electronics, and control interfaces. We value inquisitiveness and creative problem solving above all.
